TECHNOLOGY AT THE SERVICE OF STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS

CASE STUDY LEROY MERLIN

Leroy Merlin, in collaboration with Supply Nexus, conducted an initial high-level analysis of the Supply Chain and a detailed analysis of its application map to evaluate its capacity to adequately respond to the requirements and demands of its eCommerce consumer. Within the framework of the process to define the roles and responsibilities of the application map, we completed a detailed analysis of the current and target flows, with special attention placed on the role of the OMS.

We defined the corresponding action plans to reposition the role of the OMS to become the system of record for stock, as well as the orchestrator of orders and stock synchronization, taking on the lead decision-making system in certain transactions. The objective of this project was to reengineer both the OMS as well as the necessary Third-Party systems to implement the target To-Be flows as defined in the document “Application Map Analysis v11.0”. As an illustrative example, an As-Is flow and a To-Be flow are shown below.
